Trademark Policy

A trademark is a word, logo or design that identifies where goods or services come from. Collecting a picture that shows a mark, as reference, is not by itself trademark infringement; using Deeevas to pass something off as coming from you when it does not, or to impersonate a brand, is. If you own a mark and believe an account or a space on Deeevas is doing that, this page says how to tell us.

How to report

Send it to [email protected], or by post to Deeevas, NDSM-plein 90c
1033 WB Amsterdam. We need:

1. Your name, and the name of the trademark owner if that is not you.
2. The mark, and its registration number and the jurisdiction it is registered in, or the basis on which you claim rights in it.
3. Where on Deeevas the material is — a URL or enough to let us find it.
4. Why you believe the use infringes: how it is likely to confuse people about the source of goods or services.
5. A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, and that the information in the report is accurate.
6. Your contact details and signature.

We may pass the report, including your contact details, to the member concerned.

If we acted on your content

If something of yours was removed and you believe it was a mistake — you have the right to use the mark, or the use was not infringing — write to [email protected] and tell us why. We look at every reply and may restore the material.
