Notice for Non-Users

Who this is for

You are not a Deeevas member, and something about you — a picture of you, a page you made, a work you own — may have been collected by someone who is. This page says what that means, and what you can ask of Deeevas about it.

How we use that

Members collect reference from the web into private spaces. If something about you is among it, it is stored on our service, shown only to the members of the space it is in, and used for nothing else: not for advertising, not for training models, and not shown to the public. We keep the URL it came from, so it always points back to where you put it.

If a member invites you to a space by email, we hold that email address until the invite is used, revoked or expires, and for nothing else.

Ask us to take it down

If a work you own has been collected and you believe that infringes your rights, the Copyright Policy says how to send a notice. For anything else about you — a picture of you, private information — write to [email protected] with as much as you know about where it is, and we will look at it. Because spaces are private you may not be able to see the item yourself; tell us what you can.

If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland

Where the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies, you have the right to ask what data about you we hold, to have it corrected or erased, and to object to our processing it. Write to [email protected]; we answer within a month. You may also complain to your data protection authority. Our processing rests on our legitimate interest in running the service members use to keep reference, balanced against your rights, and on the requirements of the law.

How long we keep it

For as long as the member keeps it. When it is deleted, it is removed from the service at once and from backups within 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for the rest.
